Omegra Shipping is proud to announce its achievement to be the first Asian Non-Clearing Member in EEX (the European Energy Exchange).

“As an active bulk operator in an increasingly volatile market, Omegra Shipping frequently uses freight derivatives to manage exposure and express our market view. We welcome EEX for the depth of expertise and market information they provide and we are very pleased, therefore, to be the first Asian Non-Clearing Member to trade both freight futures and options through their exchange.” said Lukasz Ogryczak, Managing Director of Omegra Shipping.

EEX is a group of specialised companies providing market platforms for energy and commodity products across the globe. It focuses in energy, environmental freight, metals and agriculture. It is based in 17 worldwide locations and its part of Deutsche Borse Group.
