    Established PT Fishindo Kusuma Sejahtera and pioneered the production of fishmeal and fish oil in Indonesia. Our factory was located in Muncar, a fishing village in the Bali Strait in East Java.

    As part of its expansion plan, the Company began importing and distributing animal feed ingredients into Indonesia. As soybean meal was the largest feed ingredient imported, the Company started sourcing and merchandising soybean meal.

    Listed PT FKS Multi Agro Tbk on the Indonesia Stock Exchange on 18 January 2002, with 80 million shares, floating 16.7% of total available shares for listing to the public during the IPO.

    Entered the sugar refining business by developing two refineries in Indonesia under Tene, with a combined annual capacity of 1.2 million tonnes. Tene sources raw sugar from third parties and refines the raw sugar into refined sugar for industrial and business use.

    Established Enerfo Pte Ltd in Singapore, the strategic merchandising arm for the Group. Sourcing agri-commodities to Indonesia and other South East Asia countries, providing complete trade solutions to FKS Group as well as third parties.

    Entered into the flour milling industry through a joint venture with reputable partners, Toyota Tsusho Corporation and Malayan Flour Mills Berhad, by establishing PT Bungasari Flour Mills Indonesia.

    Established Omegra Shipping Pte Ltd in 2013, the shipping arm of the FKS Group specialising in chartering and operations in dry cargo handling. Omegra is strategically incorporated in Singapore, where all commercial and post-fixture activities are centralised for the Group.

    Established Enerfo Sugar Pte Ltd to manage sugar merchandising for FKS Group as well as third parties.

     

    In the same year,  Enerfo Sugar Limited was established in the United Kingdom and Enerfo Sugar do Brasil Ltda. was established in Sao Paulo city.

    Entered into a joint venture with Tereos S.A. to produce corn starch, sweeteners and its derivatives. Located in Cigading port, Tereos FKS operates in an integrated facility with over 400,000 tonnes of annual corn wet milling capacity.

    Our subsidiary PT Nusa Prima Logistik developed a dry bulk transit warehouse terminal in Teluk Lamong in East Java, approximately 21 km away from Surayaba, to accelerate vessel discharging operations with storage capacity reaching up to 300,000 tonnes. Teluk Lamong is a deep water port in East Java that can service large vessels such as the Panamax.

    Enerfo Vietnam was established to penetrate into Vietnam’s growing animal feed industry. Enerfo supplies corn, soybeans, soybean meal and distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) to feed millers and traders.

    Enerfo Malaysia was established in 2016 to trade and distribute imported raw materials for the production of animal feed in Malaysia. Enerfo’s foray into Malaysia is part of the Group’s strategic plan to be a leading supplier of raw materials in South East Asia.

    In 2017, FKS Food and Agri secured a strategic investment from Proterra Investments Partners. Proterra is a US-based private equity fund focused on natural resources such as agriculture, food, metals, and mining.

    FKS Logistics Vietnam was established to provide logistics and warehousing services in Vietnam. Our warehouse facility in Vietnam ahs storage capacity of 80,000 tonnes.

    FKS Food and Agri secured investment from Mitsui & Co., Ltd, and the Development Bank of Japan Inc in 2018.

    Established PT Padi Flour Nusantara (PFN), a rice flour milling company in East Java. PFN operates a highly-automated rice flour mill, producing rice flour as well as glutinous rice flour under our Bola Deli brand.

    Acquired a majority stake in PT Tiga Pilar Sejahtera Food Tbk (now known as PT FKS Food Sejahtera Tbk), one of Indonesia’s leading food and snack producers with a long history of operations since 1992.

    Completed a majority stake acquisition of Tiete Agroindustrial S.A., an upstream sugar cane plantation with two milling facilities in Sao Paolo, Brazil.

    Today, the Group operates across 10 countries, sourcing food, and feed products from five continents and serving over 2,800 customers worldwide. Supporting its extensive operations are facilities that include 25 warehouses, three dry bulk port terminal facilities and eight processing plants in Indonesia, as well as other facilities in Brazil and Vietnam.
